Born in Muskegon Michigan, I relocated to Denver in 2010. A few years later started making art. Covid gave me the time and financial stability to spend all day recreating my style and brand. I quit my job in 2020 and haven't looked back since.

“Josh Tjapkes is a Denver based artist who creates playful and expressive works of art with a combination of mediums, including aerosol, acrylic and oil paint. His use of vibrant colors and bold shapes create a unique and fun experience. His art may dance to a rhythm of color and objects as they interact in a movement. The outcome? Fun, vivacious and eye-catching artworks that pop off the canvas. He hopes his art provides joy to viewers with a fun and expressive experience.”
